Mondays – Our Untapped Motivator

 

I know, Mondays. As if.

But can I just suggest one teensy weensy way to practice shifting mindset?

The second you wake up on a Monday morning or are in the car driving to work. Where do you wish you were? What do you want to be doing? Who do you want to be with? Everything you tell yourself on Monday mornings- these are the things that you should be fighting for. These are the things that you should be taking baby steps every day to accomplish. These are things you ACTUALLY want. The life you want to LIVE. Don’t ignore those thoughts. This is the real you. This is what makes you happy. Why would you ignore pure, genuine, unfiltered thoughts like that?

Wish you were still sleeping? How do you find a job you don’t have to battle rush hour, and can sleep the fuck in? Wish you were on a tropical island? Sounds far off. But, not really. How can you explore ways to build more vacation time into your life? Maybe you are happy with your life, you are one of the lucky ones!

There are so many options out there. Many. And most of them don’t require a 9-5 working for someone else just for a paycheck. Just look for them. Where’s the passion? The drive? Give yourself the opportunity to take your “Monday morning messages” and push yourself to see that maybe you can actually get there.

Even a small shift in mindset can change the whole trajectory of your life.
